About this call
The EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change supports at least 150 European regions and communities to become climate resilient by 2030. Within Horizon Europe, the Adaptation Mission is one of five EU Missions. HORIZON-MISS-2026-01 is the 2026 work-programme destination supporting Mission implementation. Six city-applicable topics open under it for the 2026 wave: implementing actionable solutions for climate adaptation (CLIMA-02), standardising climate services (CLIMA-03), bridging disaster risk management and climate adaptation (CLIMA-04), protecting cultural heritage from climate impacts (CLIMA-05), climate resilience of inland waterways (CLIMA-06), and supporting local adaptation financing through combined instruments (CLIMA-07). One additional topic (CLIMA-01 National Adaptation Hubs) is national-level only and excluded from this iteration. All topics open 4 February 2026 and close 23 September 2026. Managed by CINEA.
