LIFE 2026 — Standard Action Projects (ENV)
About this call
LIFE-2026-SAP-ENV is the 2026 call for Standard Action Projects under the LIFE Circular Economy and Quality of Life sub-programme, managed by CINEA. The call has a total estimated budget of €85.5 million and a single deadline of 22 September 2026. It funds best-practice, demonstration, pilot, and information-and-awareness projects across two topics: Circular Economy and Zero Pollution (€79 million, around 31 projects of €2–10 million each), and Environmental Governance (€6.5 million, 5–6 projects of €0.7–2 million each). Within each topic, applicants choose one or two sub-topics (a maximum of two), which scopes the proposal against specific environmental priorities — from circular economy and waste, through air, water, soil, noise, chemicals and industrial emissions, to the New European Bauhaus and to governance and compliance work. Public bodies (including municipalities, regions, public utilities), private entities and NGOs across the EU, EEA and LIFE-associated countries can apply, with single applicants permitted and a maximum EU contribution of 60%.
